About the U.O.G.A

The Utah Outfitter & Guide Association (U.O.G.A.) is a nonprofit 501(c)(6) professional trade organization dedicated to supporting, representing, and uniting licensed hunting outfitters and guides across the state of Utah. Founded on the core values of integrity, conservation, and responsible outdoor leadership, U.O.G.A. is committed to upholding the highest standards of ethical hunting and guiding practices.

Born out of necessity by industry professionals, U.O.G.A. was established to provide a unified voice for Utah’s outfitting and guiding community. We have developed and promoted the “Standard of Practice” for guide services to ensure consistent improvement, innovation, and excellence in the field. Our goal is to deliver the highest-quality outdoor experiences while maintaining the utmost respect for wildlife, clients, and the landscapes in which we operate.

We believe in the power of unity and collaboration to preserve, strengthen, and uphold the integrity of the outfitting industry. U.O.G.A. advocates for responsible access to public lands, supports sustainable outdoor recreation, and promotes ethical, high-quality hunting experiences for all.

We are dedicated to the ongoing professional development of our members and to educating clients about conservation ethics, wildlife stewardship, and the respectful enjoyment of Utah’s natural and cultural heritage.
